POLE VAULT PIT SPECS

Listed below are the specifications for our new pole vault pit.

Specifications:

(1) 19 oz. high tear strength vinyl coated polyester.
(2) 10 handles on each back section reinforced on inside of encasement.
(3) Each section to have two easy release buckles and straps at each corner reinforced with backing on inside of encasement.
(4) Grommets on bottom of each section for drainage.
(5) Three layers of specially selected polyurethane foam. Top layer of foam to be 10 inches thick with two layers of 10" x 12" foam rails on bottoms and with additional foam of higher density equally spaced between rails to prevent curling under.
(6) Each section to have heavy duty welded "D" rings around bottoms to match snaps of landing pad and weather cover skirts.
(7) All seams where mesh is attached to vinyl is double sewn for strength.
(8) All zippers to be heavy duty black nylon. Durable and non corrosive.
(9) All straps for buckles on sections and snap straps on landing pad and weather cover to be made of the same vinyl used on the sections for strength, durability, and matching color.


   LANDING PAD
Vinyl reinforcing around entire perimeter for extra strength.
Solid brass snaps sewn to bottom side of landing pad for safer landing area.

WEATHER COVER: (Included)
(1) 19 oz. vinyl with all seams across pit heat sealed for water proofing.
(2) Skirt to drop down 30 inches with snaps to match section "D" rings.

FRONT SECTIONS:
To have "Y" cutout around plant box for maximum pole bend.
All seams in cutout to be double stitched for durability.

STANDARD BASE PADS: (Included)
(1) Materials to be same as pit sections and custom sized to properly fit each apron and thickness of pit.
(2) Slotted and marked with scale for full and accurate standard adjustment.

Every pole vault pit sold by BUCK TERRELL ATHLETICS exceeds National High School Federation and College rules and will include the required Plant Box Collar Pad . Every pole vault pit will be covered in the dominant school color with the school mascot or name on the sides. The "Y" cutout around the plant box will be covered in white double mesh to provide durability and contrast to the school colors. The Standard Base Pads and a Weather Cover are included with every new pole vault pit. Please add an 8% shipping charge to every pole vault pit ordered.
